Mission
Knowviq launched on 27 September 2026, Google's 28th birthday.
Here is how it works. Brave gathers the search results and, when one is available, a draft answer. Parallel Search finds evidence excerpts for each claim. TypeSafe Jev (System One) scores each claim against those excerpts, falling back to fetched source page text when Parallel is unavailable. Jev also scores each result. Only Jev-verified results are shown, each with a confidence percentage. Answers include a How sure? bar. Follow-ups are verified the same way.
Knowviq is search that shows how sure it is. We look for answers you can trust, and we put evidence ahead of ads.
Knowviq stands for "know verified IQ".
Methodology
Sources
Pages are gathered from the web — Brave web search, Grokipedia, and Hacker News.
Results
Jev rates each result for how directly it answers the search. Only results Jev verifies with high confidence are shown, highest verified percentage first.
Answers
Brave drafts an answer, and Parallel Search finds evidence for each claim. TypeSafe Jev checks every claim against that evidence, and only verified content is shown. Follow-ups work the same way, with three free follow-ups per search.
No ads
Nothing is sold. Ranking is not based on tracking. Source order holds until Jev finishes; then only verified results remain.
Location
Location is only used when your search mentions it, only with your permission, and never saved.
Photos
Photo searches send a downscaled copy of your photo to Cloudflare Workers AI once to identify what's in it (a place, plant, animal, dish or object); the photo is never stored or logged. Knowviq never identifies people from photos.
Pricing
Knowviq is free. Knowviq Pro (US$9/month) adds unlimited follow-ups, each one verified by Jev, and 30 photo searches a day.
Limits
Jev is a calibrated model, not a formal proof. Mistakes are possible. If a reading is missing, we say so. We do not invent a number to look finished.
